When the designer started this project, they were already aware of the issues they face with time management. Managing your time in an effective way ensures the work is done and deadlines are met, however poor time management means that work may not be done up to the highest standard it could be and work may go past its deadline.
"How many times have you felt like you’ve lost hours of your life and will never get it back? There are a lot of ‘time wasters’ in our daily lives. That’s why time management is important in project management. Any project you are working on or you are about to start, has an official end date." (Kashyap, n.d.).
In order to combat this, the designer started using a diary, to plan out all deadlines as being able to see everything written down in front of them made it easier to visualise what needed to be done and when.

Another step they took was they created a weekly schedule to effectively plan out their time.

Creating this schedule has helped a great deal in keeping the designer on track and motivated with completing different steps within their project. Creating these visual aids and plans ensures the designer does not forget about certain steps and makes sure deadlines are precisely met.
